Make your Oscar Picks, Win a Free Dinner in Boston

February 21, 2007

OscarsThe Academy Awards are Sunday night, making this an opportune time to recap Hollywood’s best from last year. For the past few years, Brendan and I have participated in Oscar pools of some kind or another. But seeing as none of our friends have organized one this year, we’ve decided to host our own, right here on our blog.

The winner of our little pool shall receive a free dinner with the creators of Tropist! Regulations stipulate that the dinner must take place in the Boston area, but there’s no expiration date! So there’s nothing stopping you from redeeming your prize 20 years from now.

To enter, download(doc/txt) the nominees, fill in your choice for each category, and post them as a comment on this post. Don’t worry, you don’t need an account to comment, but make sure you identify yourself so we can contact you if you win. This is just for fun, so don’t hose us with legal stuff please. Thanks.

To keep things simple, all categories will be weighted equally. So the person with the most correct picks wins.

– chris

Hot tip: You can watch the nominees for best Short Film on Ticklebooth: both animated and live action.
